Meet the Team

  • Founder and CEO

Allison holds a National Board Certification and Washington State License in Behavior Analysis (BCBA/LBA) and a K-12 Teaching Certificate in Special Education. She specializes in helping school professionals deal with challenging behaviors so that they can focus on what is important to them- namely, safety and student learning. Allison is skilled at working with all ages and abilities of students and with all levels of school staff to implement a collaborative, strengths-based and evidence-based approach to handling challenging behaviors.

For over a decade, Allison has worked exclusively in schools as a Mental Health Specialist, School Behavior Analyst and Special Education Teacher in public schools, a private school and a day-treatment program. Prior to her work in schools, she spent 5 years providing support to families with children with autism and related behavioral challenges in the home, school and community settings using applied behavior analysis. She is also worked as an associate faculty member with City University, where she mentored teacher candidates who were entering the classroom. Her unique experience as a support staff, a related service provider, a teacher and a district-level staff allow her to walk alongside educators with a deep understanding of their important work. Allison can pinpoint gaps in adult learning and challenges in mindset that often get in the way of supporting challenging behaviors. Her passion lies in working with school teams to build knowledge and shift their mindsets to provide an inclusive environment for all students.
